With two existing locations in Billings, MT, Mike recently opened his third location at Gallatin Valley Mall. Their menu? Several daily soups made from scratch, homemade breadsticks, and a fresh salad bar with 60+ options including meats, cheeses, fruit, and veggies. Soup and Such and their unlimited soup, salad, and breadsticks is located next to Barnes & Noble and is open Monday-Saturday 10am-9pm and Sunday 11am-7pm.
Soup and Such is a unique offering in the Bozeman community. The “healthy fast-food”, buffet style dining gives guests the opportunity to sample new items and stay as long as they wish or take it to go. Customers can sample all seven daily soups before choosing their favorite, or try the light, healthy salad bar. Mike says, “You can get full; but with good, fresh ingredients”.
The mall is the perfect location for Soup and Such. Shoppers can fuel up with a light lunch and movie goers can enjoy a late dinner before heading to Regal for a movie. Mike also enjoys the support available by being a mall tenant, from help with his launch, to the feeling of comradery. “In our Billings locations, it’s just us”. Having the mall to work with was a big change. Mike was optimistic about the transition and shared it has “not been restrictive, but very constructive”.
Mike mentioned he has already observed he fellow local business owners at GVM benefiting by being part of the mall. They’ve been able to grow and promote their stores in an impactful way. If he were advising another small business on where to locate in Bozeman, Mike says he would definitely recommend the mall. “Just based on the traffic coming through and the support the mall family brings”.
