Growing optometrist office is seeking new team members! We are looking for people with managerial experience who can assist in employee schedules, payroll/bookkeeping, and insurance filing. This position will also include helping with the daily operations of the office such as scheduling patients, checking patients in and out, and placing patient orders so that we have a smooth-running operation and can provide a good experience for both patients and employees.
The position also includes some optician responsibilities. While the optician part of the job is required, previous experience is not necessary as we offer on the job training for this aspect.
We currently have multiple openings in our office with a need for at least one full time employee. We are located in the Gallatin Valley Mall and are open seven days a week, Monday-Saturday 10am-8pm and Sunday from 11am-5pm. Availability to work some evenings, weekends, and possibly holidays is a must.
Ideal candidates will have the following skills:
Prove proficient in all Microsoft Office programs
Some Quickbooks/bookkeeping experience
Some insurance filing experience
Have above average computer skills
Strong communication skills both verbally & written
Be self-directed when needed and a team player when needed
Previous office experience
Ability to use common office equipment
Follow verbal & written instructions
Take pride in job performance
