The halls of Gallatin Valley Mall are once again accessorized with pink. Why? Breast Cancer Awareness month has kicked off and is in full swing! But this month is more than just wearing one of our favorite colors. With Breast Cancer Awareness month in full swing and 1 in 8 women developing breast cancer in their life time it is time for a change! We are ready to take a stand along with the Bozeman community for our loved ones who have either fought, are currently fighting, or who may someday have to.
With such staggering statistics it's fair to say this probably hits home for you or someone you love.
So, during Breast Cancer Awareness month, let's go above just awareness. Let's stand with poise and relax from the stress life throws us. Let's chat with amazing women over a glass of wine and find we can all relate to the same cause. Gallatin Valley Mall is hosting Warriors & Wine on October 20 at 9:30AM so you can do just that. Join us for yoga, wine, and shopping, all while raising funds for those in our community affected by breast cancer. The $10 pre-registration fee goes DIRECTLY to the local community - Bozeman Health Cancer Center, Advanced Medical Imaging Mammogram Project, and the Cancer Support Community. You will also recieve a complimentary yoga towel and wine glass.
New to yoga? Hey, we are too! All levels of abilities and ages are welcome. The class is beginner level, family-friendly, and taught by some fantastic instructors. Cancer Support Community volunteer - Vandana Sood-Giddings will be leading the yoga class and Proctor Charlier will be teaching the children's yoga class. Following the yoga classes will be a light brunch and mimosas!
Grab a gal pal, mom, sister, or daughter and namaste with rosé to find a way to the cure.
See you soon, Warriors!
Thank you to the Ridge Athletic Club for donating yoga mats that will be for sale for $10 at the event. These proceeds will also be donated back to the community.
Can't make it to yoga but still want to make a difference? Stop by GVM Guest Services all October to purchase a pink ribbon for $1 each. All proceeds go to the Advanced Medical Imaging Mammogram Project.
