Schedule: Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Position Summary
Gallatin Crossing is seeking a reliable, self-motivated Maintenance Technician to support the daily upkeep and functionality of our vibrant shopping center. This full-time position is ideal for someone with a hands-on, problem-solving mindset and a general understanding of building systems, repairs, and property maintenance.
The Maintenance Technician plays a vital role in maintaining a safe, clean, and inviting environment for our tenants and guests. Under the direction of the Operations Manager, this position is responsible for a wide range of tasks both inside and outside the center.
Key Responsibilities
Perform minor repairs and maintenance on buildings, fixtures, and site infrastructure (e.g., doors, lighting, signage, fencing, gates).
Conduct regular inspections of property grounds and facilities to identify and resolve maintenance issues proactively.
Support interior and exterior upkeep, including pressure washing, debris removal, painting, and seasonal tasks such as snow and ice management.
Operate and maintain a variety of power tools and equipment in a safe and effective manner.
Assist with minor tenant build-out tasks such as drywall patching, light framing, painting, fixture installation, and furniture assembly.
Perform routine carpet cleaning and occasional deep cleaning in common areas.
Water and care for interior and exterior plants and landscaping features.
Respond to maintenance service requests promptly and professionally.
Assist with event setup and teardown as needed.
Maintain compliance with safety procedures and building codes.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
At least 2 years of experience in general maintenance, construction, facilities, or a related field preferred.
Proficiency in the safe use of hand and power tools.
Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and carpentry.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-focused attitude.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
