The school year is winding down, which means camping, flip-flops and - of course - a summer reading list. The grade-level catalog of reading material stuffed into every student's backpack during the last week of school can either be a beast of a burden or the salvation of summer.

Either way, parents should definitely take advantage of the Gallatin Valley Mall / Montana Parent Magazine Book Swap scheduled on May 20 from 10am until 2pm in the JoAnn Court. Bring books for your children have outgrown and go home with a new library to fill those long summer days.
